Profile:

We are a Close Corporation, namely Bushmans Rock Trading 6 CC – Trading as Trademart Auctioneers.

We are well situated in the heart of East London and many of our clients come from Port Elizabeth and surrounding areas and even as far afield as Kokstad (KwaZulu Natal) to Cape Town (Western Cape)

 

Our premises comprising offices and warehousing of 2,500m² are situated No. 8 Atlas Road, Arcadia, East London from where we conduct regular auction sales every Tuesday and Saturday and an evening auction for exclusive furniture once a month.

 

We also undertake outside auctions on behalf of deceased and insolvent estates, government and various other institutions. We endeavour to provide the maximum price for goods on behalf of our clients.

 

We pride ourselves on our integrity and ethical values in providing an excellent service to our clients, namely Eskom, Universities, Government Departments, Local Authorities, Liquidators, Attorneys, Banks as well as private organisations and individuals.

 

We are established Realtors and Appraisers able to render a professional service to our prospective clients in the Property market – via the auction route or by private treaty of residential and commercial properties.

 

We are registered VAT Vendors and comply with SARS. We attach a copy of our Tax Clearance Certificate.

 

We work on the FlexiAuction Computer system for registering of goods, bidders and sales and are fully computerised and competent as far as administration of the business is concerned.

 

Our bankers are ABSA and we are a B-BBEE registered enterprise as a Level 4 contributor.

 

Advertising:

We advertise in local newspapers and when deemed necessary in other countrywide media. We send approximately 4,000 SMS’s prior to each auction, as well as 300 emails to preferential clients. We advertise via the Web and keep the site up to date. We also advertise permanently on Radio Algoa which reaches the entire Eastern Cape metropolitan.

 

Security:

We have Security Cameras and a monitored Alarm system and our Stock Control is of a high standard.

 

Personnel:

  • Manager – Greg Pitcher Appraiser, Estate Agent and an experienced Auctioneer.

  • Senior Auctioneer – Alan Ingram who has over 40 years experience in all aspects of auctioneering. Has conducted sales of vehicles, tractors, implements for Dept of Transport in Zwelitsha, S.A. Defence Force in Umtata, Dept of Agriculture at various venues in Transkei and many others.

  • Auctioneer – Vernon Roodt who is highly experienced in all aspects of vehicle auctions having conducted sales in East London as well as Burchmores in Cape Town.

     

    All three above are appointed Appraisers in terms of the Estates Act 1965 (Act 66 of 1965).

  • Property – Leon Claassen LLB and Tess Ravenscroft MIEA

  • Administration and FlexiAuction operators – Barbara Wagenaar and Michelle de Lange.
